The Rising Star Leadership Award was created to honor outstanding High School sophomores and juniors in the Sixth Senatorial District, each of whom excelled in any of five leadership categories: Academic Leadership, Athletic Leadership, Community Leadership, School Leadership or Overall Leadership.
