Suffering from Domestic Violence? Get the Help you Deserve
Each year at least 3.3 million children between the ages of 3 and 17 are at risk of witnessing parental violence and its effects. Senator Kemp Hannon is proud to partner with Saving Promise to spread domestic violence awareness across New York State.
“With an average of three women murdered every day, domestic violence is the most serious social and family issue of our time. We’ve gotta talk about it!,” said Saving Promise founder L.Y. Marlow. “Saving Promise, the first of its kind grassroots domestic violence brand is going to bring about real change to address this issue head on, and get America talking about it,” L.Y. Marlow continued.
Senator Kemp Hannon recently joined Saving Promise and the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence at Roosevelt Field Mall in an effort to spread domestic violence awareness to the community. “Both children and adults need to know that there is help available to them,” said Senator Hannon. “As community leaders and neighbors, it’s crucial to reach out to these families and get them the help they deserve,” Hannon continued.
